AI Search Optimization is an emerging field. In just ten days, we helped our client break into top-ranking positions across their site—without paid ads, backlinks, or a long content history. The key? A sharp focus on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): creating AI search optimized content designed to rank in how tools like ChatGPT, SGE, and Perplexity serve information.
The Brief - AI Search Optimization
Our client wanted to grow traffic through content—fast. But instead of traditional SEO tactics, we focused on where search is headed: Generative AI results. Our goal was to test whether we could rank new pages quickly by optimizing for how AI models search and find information.
The Strategy: GEO First
We started by rethinking our entire approach through the lens of Ai Search Optimization (AEO or GEO). That meant shifting from keyword stuffing and long-form fluff to concise, high-quality content designed to be picked up by LLMs and AI-powered search assistants.
We led with questions. We imagined what real users would ask and used tools like Ahrefs to validate intent. We weren’t worried about search volume—we wanted the kind of queries that generative search answers directly.
We prioritized clarity over word count.Instead of long articles, we wrote straight-to-the-point answers in a clean Q&A format, structured in a way that AI models could easily parse and serve back to users.
We created fast, relevant content. We published 10 blog posts in 10 days. Every piece was focused on a single user question, written with generative engines in mind.
We jumped on emerging topics. One of our top-performing blogs came from identifying a fast-growing trend and writing a post that preemptively answered a question users didn’t even know they’d be asking yet.
The Results (in Just 10 Days)
3 of the 10 GEO blogs became top-performing pages on the entire website
GEO-optimized pages now rank in the top five most-visited pages on the site
44 total clicks and 10.8K impressions organically, with no paid promotion
New keywords unlocked that the site had never ranked for before
One post generated 3000 organic impressions and 12 clicks within just 3 days of going live.
These results reflect not just increased traffic—but improved discoverability in AI-enhanced search environments, which are shaping the future of how users find and trust content.

Why It Worked
Traditional SEO is optimized for crawlers. GEO is optimized for language models.
By focusing on content that answers questions in a concise manner we created blog posts that:
Are easy for AI to summarize, cite, and rank
Meet the informational needs of users instantly
Stay relevant in both search and generative discovery
We didn't just publish content, we published AI-legible answers.
Final Thought
